What makes it feel like home?
How can you re-create the feeling of comfort and home when you move far away? Here are my tips to mix the old with the new and celebrate your new space.
Happy New 2022
Happy 2022—this year is about me working towards my big dreams. One of those dreams is writing. I have always loved writing since I was young. I was the kid that asked for a typewriter for Christmas.
Meet Donna Chan
Learning about Macadons by creator Donna Chan was so fun. I absolutely love her macaron ice cream sandwiches and all the fun macaron flavors she creates! If you are in White Center stop by the shop on 16th Ave SW or order from her online at www.macadons.com.
Being a community
When I am outside my house I like to strike up conversations with my neighbors. This time of year the air is fresh and the breeze is cool. Being outdoors feels like a neutral space that is open to new possibilities for creating friendships for me.
Visiting Pike Place Market
Spending the afternoon wandering around the market is always fun. I love noticing different artists every time I visit. I absolutely love Three Girls bakery and their delicious almond croissant. If they are sold out I have found the chocolate macaroons are equally delicious in a coconut kind of way!
Snowboarding PNW
Dave and I love snowboarding in the PNW. We have been snowboarding for over 10 years and love the feeling of getting out on the mountain in the crisp winter air. We are looking forward to another great season in 21/22.
I love sunny winter days…don’t you?
This area of the Pacific Northwest is so beautiful. There is so much outdoor recreation available year round here. I love watching the sailboats sailing past.
SOUL MATES!
I definitely won the online lottery when I met Dave on the dating website Plenty of Fish. This was over 10 years ago now. I am so lucky to have met such a cool human who is definitely my soul mate and best friend.
