West Seattle

Lik-a-love.

Malika of Likalove Boutique started her clothing business right here in West Seattle. She created pop-up trunk events and grew her business to what it is now. Located in the heart of the Alaska Junction you can find that extraordinary service that Likalove Boutique offers. Want an appointment for personal styling? Visit her instagram page at @likalove.

Malika has just opened Bar in the Heart her cozy, sexy, and swanky speakeasy so you can treat yourself while being pampered during your personal styling appointment.

This neighborhood offers a smaller town lifestyle, plenty of recreation, and beautiful views all around.

One of the reasons I enjoy West Seattle is because it is a little removed from the main city area of Seattle. West Seattle offers its own vibe of art, recreation, and community. There are many unique neighborhoods in West Seattle offering options to its residents who may prefer top of the hill views or love the salty beach breeze a bit closer to the waterfront. Modest condos are priced near $300,000 and the scale goes up to infinity from there. You will see many drool worthy homes perched on the cliffs of Marine View Drive, along the waterfront of Alki and Beach Drive SW, and uptown townhouses and homes right in the heart of the Junction. No matter what style of home you are looking for West Seattle offers lots of choices at all prices points. I would love to meet you for a neighborhood tour if you are considering making West Seattle your new home!

Cormorant Cove.

This sweet little spot offers a great grassy play area…perfect for a little frisbee. I love walking the rocky path past the driftwood to be close to the water. This is a great spot to launch off in your kayak or head out on the paddle board.

The Cormorants are a coastal bird that nests in colonies around the shore. I have seen some very beautiful birds along the waters edge here.

Lincoln Park

A perfect nature walk that offers trails through the forest, gravel path along the waterside, playgrounds, sports areas, and picnic spots. It is a great place to enjoy all the outdoor activities!

Surrounded by the Puget Sound mostly West Seattle that feels like you are living on an island.

With the main West Seattle Bridge under repair it feels like we are even further from Seattle than before.

Lincoln Park, Schmitz Reserve, and Alki Trail are all enjoyable for close-by outdoor adventures.

I love the Water Taxi that takes about 5 minutes to cross Elliott Bay. Perfect for a visit to downtown for the day or your daily commute to work!

One of my favorite places

Schmitz Preserve is a beautiful forested park right in the middle of the Admiral neighborhood. It is so lovely to take an afternoon stroll through the preserve. I was even lucky enough to see a hummingbird land in its nest about 5 feet from me last summer. So sweet!

ALKI trail.

Night or day this paved trail is a great place to get out and enjoy the fresh salty air. On this trail you will find great places to enjoy the sandy beach, get close to the water, and enjoy the views West Seattle has to offer.

West Seattle is home to over 80,000 people currently.
