Visiting Pike Place Market
Well in case you didn’t know I definitely love to eat sweets. As a kid I loved baking cookies and cakes. It was so much fun and rewarding. Now to curtail the amount of sweets in the house I find it easier to have a few favorite bakeries around town. One of my first trips to Seattle I found a walk up bakery window called Three Girls Bakery. I thought that was very cute as I am a sister 3 pack also! I looked through the windows at all the possibilities. Coconut bars, cookies, cinnamon twists—all the delicious choices were tempting. However when my eyes fell just to the right of the counter on the perfectly powder sugar dusted almond croissants I knew I had to try one! It was the best croissant I had ever tasted. The perfect balance of buttery and sweet almond paste. That is a match made in heaven in my opinion.
So on any day I am lucky enough to get to the market…I cannot resist looking to see if Three Girls Bakery is SOLD OUT of this delectable treat. More often than not they are all gone. I am not a morning person so good job early birds!!! I go on feeling happy for the people who got to enjoy them that morning!
Here is the link to my latest visit! It was a success!
