Meet Donna Chan
Donna Chan is the owner and Creator of Macadons in Seattle, WA. What is Macadons you ask? That’s a great question! Macadons is a one-of-a-kind creative cookie shop that features asian flavors in this light chewy cookie shell. If you like the taste of Thai Tea, tangy passionfruit or even mango you need to try these macarons. There are always 20 different flavors available in the cookie shop to choose from and will all the different sizes you can try them all.
Donna is the artist and expert flavor creator who uses the real ingredients to make her specialty flavors exceptional. It is no easy task to infuse white chocolate ganache with a tea flavor Donna told me. She works really hard to blend the white chocolate ganache with the Thai tea infusion exactly to get the rich flavor for her Thai Tea macaron. It is her favorite flavor.
I asked her for a recommendation of a flavor for a macaron ice cream sandwich to try. She recommended Ube the flavor of the Japanese purple sweet potato. Lightly colored purple cookies surrounding dark purple Ube ice cream made by Pink’s Ice Cream (a sister company of Macadons). It’s a fun color so I thought why not. I didn't know what to expect when I went to try it…or maybe I was a little skeptical that it would be boring and taste like dirt? Oh my was I WRONG! This was next level deliciousness and is my absolute favorite… vanilla cookies and cream!
Speaking of the next level Donna wants to make these cookies even more incredible and memorable for you. She has created a way for you to print your own designs and photos on the macarons. This is a unique offering only available by Macadons. You can get really creative here. You could print out your wedding date on macarons in your wedding colors and order a macaron tower for your special day. You can print your business logo on macarons to send to all of your best clients this holiday season. Celebrate your fur babies or share your favorite selfie…imagine the possibilities! If I have sparked your imagination check out all your options at www.macadons.com where you can place your order. Donna said a customer successfully shipped her macarons to Thailand where they arrived in perfect condition.
I hope you will try Donna’s macarons and send them to your friends. She creates themed gift boxes, seasonal specialty flavors like maple bacon and French toast, and mix and match options so you can get exactly what you are looking for.
