SOUL MATES!

Yes I’m one of those who believes 100% in finding your soul mate. For years I imagined, thought, and dreamed about my ideal partner. No matter what was happening in my life I thought about how he would act, what he would be like, and how awesome he would be.

One day I was sitting on the floor hanging out with my sister and perusing the online dating website I just joined the week earlier. I came across this interesting profile of this sarcastic guy. His answers to the profile questions where short and funny. How much money do you make? None of your business. What is one thing you can’t live without? He said soap!!!! Who says that??? Literally no one!!! I was definitely intrigued! He provided 2 profile photos. The really good one was of him staring at his computer so I could only see half his face and a distance shot where I could just make out that he was a human. Well lucky for him I messaged him!!!

I bet when we first met, he never thought he was going to sail around the world with this lady!!! After this Davy Jones graduated high school, he moved to Seattle to work on the fishing boats in the Bering Sea. When I met him, he was living in the little town where I grew up. Now my husband and I have our sights set on voyages across the oceans. That’s optimism for you…you better believe it!
